Christmas

Junior had a fantastic Christmas. He got way too much stuff and loved all of it! He seemed to love the whole season really. The trees and lights and all of it. I am actually sad it's over already.

I lost my camera and my cell phone in my house today, there really is that much stuff here.

And we got a Zoo membership, so we can use that all year long!

We made a small batch and a big mess but it was fun. I think we'll do it again soon, maybe with some help. Then our shapes may not look like blobs!

First oops

We broke our first ornament this morning. I think Jr had forgotten about the tree and then suddenly he must have remembered. We were in the kitchen and he said lights, and drug me to the living room so we could turn on the tree lights. And we sat and looked at it. Then he was playing with the bulbs and accidentally hit one of the glass ones against a metal bell and it broke. Oh well. Very poor planing on my part to buy glass ornaments when we have a toddler in the house.

SO Jr has done really well with it, we have only had it up for a few hours though. He likes to look at it. He liked playing in the tree box. I think that is picture two.
The cat likes to bat at the low ornaments, between her and Junior I think we're going to have watch the tree the whole season!

last week

This is the last week of clases for me. I have finals next week and I am so ready for this to be over. Junior has been going through the terrible twos quite terribly, and I myself have not been handling it well either. I'm hopefull this break from classes will give a chance to regroup as a person and mommy. I think I may try to start a project or something. Maybe sew something for the new baby, or make Jr something special for schristmas. I thought about teaching myself to croche, but I'm not really sure what need I have for that. Maybe paper crafting, I like the look of homemade cards.

ps. I am looking for a car if anyone wants to sell one for cheap.

Professional pictures

We got pictures taken last night. Of course I spent way too much money but I knew it would happen. I didn't buy all of these poses, but when you spend a certain amount you get to keep a CD of all the shots. There were 99! I'll be sending some out with our Christmas cards. I have a ton of pictures so everyone will probably get a copy of all the ones we bought.

Today sucks

I didn't sleep well last night. Early this morning the cat got stuck to a glue trap for the mice, I couldn't go back to sleep after that. Junior and I got lost on the way to story time at a new library, by the time we got there it was pretty much over.

I have a paper due at 1o'clock and it is now 12:30. I only have a paragraph done. I have know about the paper for too long to not have it done. I always procrastinate but normally I turn in an A or B paper anyways. This time I have nothing. I tried to do it but I really don't know what to write
Oh and Jr is a bully. At the library he pushed 2 other kids in the short amount of time we were there. And hit me about 7 times. So we left.

I am hungry and upset about other things so all the petty things seem like a big deal too.

We got a cat yesterday. Jr loves the cat, but she is not so fond of us yet. She liked him before we brought her home so hopefully once she gets adjusted to our house they will get along.
She is hiding under the bed and Junior keeps peeking under there to look at her. She is home alone now. I hope she can go explore the house and feel comfortable. And hopefully not cause any damage because she is scared.

Time to ditch the theme, I'll get to that later today. Junior's birthday is a week from today! I can't belive it's been 2 years!

Trick or Treat

Junior had fun. Everyone loved his costume, I mean everyone! I guess you don't see very many little chefs. He wore his hat too so I was glad. He only wore it part time but that was better than I thought he would do. A lot of people thought he was a girl. With his hat on they couldn't tell. I didn't even try to correct them.

We only had a few people come to our house so we have a ton of candy. Jr has quite a fondness for candy, not good. So anyone who needs some can come on over!

Happy Halloween!

Yay! I love Halloween. I'm kinda sad it will over tonight. Junior's
costume is done and it is perfect! Thanks to my wonderful mom. Today is
the warmest day we've had in weeks so it will be perfect for trick or
treating. Jr knows what candy is so I'm sure he will be all about it
this year.Miceles and I don't have costumes but that's ok.

Oh and we carved the pumpkins. Jr was not interested. He was interested in the knives of course and stomping on the pumpkin seeds. But the pumpkin carving got a big "ewww" from him. Haha. So I was mean and put some seeds and insides on his hand and he shook it off, said eww and asked to wash his hands. He is so silly.

daycare update

I was hoping daycare would be more exciting for Junior by now. Today I dropped him off and he was very sad still. He began getting upset as soon as I parked the car. By the time I left he was crying very hard and I heard him try to open the door to follow me. I hate it. I wonder what he thinks? Does he think I don't want to be with him anymore? They say he only cries for a couple of minutes after I leave but eve that is hard to know.

I have also been thinking a loot about bringing in a new baby. Junior sleeps in the bed with Miceles and I. Doctors don't recommend sleeping with babied but we do it anyway, and we are careful. Junior is old enough not to worry about anymore. The new baby will probably sleep with us as well. Now that means that it will not be very safe for Junior to say in the bed with us. We have to start working on getting him into his own bed, but I know he is not ready, and neither am I. His room is so far away and it gets so cold at night. I won't be able to sleep I will be so worried about him.

So the bed sharing is just one example but I fear he will feel pushed to the side for the new baby. I don't want him to be resentful, if a child so little can feel that way. I just worry that he will not feel loved or something. It has just been the three of us his entire life and now he will have to share. He has been weaned, sent to daycare and is getting kicked out of the bed all in a very short amount of time.

Miceles keeps saying he will be OK and it's part of growing up but it doesn't seem like that too me. Maybe if he could understand why his world is changing so much, but he doesn't. His behavior recently shows his confusion and frustration. He has been very whiny and also aggressive. I feel so sad for him.

Oh and the blog. I don't know if I should leave it as it is and make a new one for the new baby or just let this be the family blog. i have avoided posting mucha bout the new baby on here for that reason that I feel it is Junior's blog and he should not have to share it. He doesn't even care about the blog though, so it's all in my over thinking mind...

The new baby is a

GIRL! Or so we think. We got a peek today and the ultrasound tech thinks it's a girl, though one can never be sure. I don't really know how to feel. excited to have one of each and at the same time afraid of what a little girl will be like!

Halloween is coming

This year Jr is going to e a chef. he loves to cook so it just seems right. This will be a homemade costume, I like them better that way anyways, plus it's less expensive. Well maybe not less expensive but no one else will have one. The problem is that yet again I have procrastinated till late in October to begin. Hopefully we will get it done. Daddy and I planned to dress up with him but I don't know what we will be now that we have very little time left.

Daycare!

Junior had his first day at daycare yesterday. I dropped him off at 8:30 in the morning and didn't get t pic him up till 4:30. he cried when I left him. My dad went with me to pick him up since we were both leaving Ohio State at the time. They said Jr did pretty good.He didn't cry much they said. At nap time he laid down on his coy,covered up with his blanket and cried silently to sleep. How sad is that? That breaks my heart to think about. He also cried when the first parent arrived to pick up their child and it was not me coming to get him.
But other than the few crying spells he did well. He ate almost all of his lunch. He did an art project. I didn't get to see it though. :( And he made some friends. hey were impressed with his speaking abilities. I guess he said "where's my mommy?" and "what is paint?" before their art project.

He goes back today, but only for a few hours, not all day again. I have to pack his lunch every day, and don't know what to pack. Sandwiches seem like they would get boring everyday.

So I think it went OK. Be both cried a little yesterday.I missed him so much and kept worrying about him. He doesn't understand how it works yet, so I know he will be sad to go again today.

crazy life.

Our life is a mess right now. School just started among other things. We are al very busy. Jr is growing lots and is a ton of fun. I am pregnant, but I think that is a known fact. at least I hope so. I am not good at telling people things. Went to the zoo last week. Jr had a good time. He loved all the animals this time and wore his little self out and fell asleep in the wagon. The weekend before that we went to my moms house and "helped" her make apple goodie (-maybe goody). Junior had fun playing with apples in the water.

So I think it is fair to say that pictures will come weeks after they have been taken and the event has long since passed. On my birthday (the 9th of August, yeah, I took these 2 weeks ago) we went to the fair. Baby Sal rode some rides and had some funnle cake and other fair foods. He had a great time. I love that he has a good time with amost everything we do. Speaking of fun, we went to the new waterpark here this past wednesday. Give me a while and I may get those pictures up too.
